Hey! I’m Kenya Spears, a creative born and raised in Portland, Oregon. After attending the University of Oregon for a couple of years, I then attended Southern University and A&M College, a HBCU [historically Black college/university] in Louisiana. Throughout my higher education, I discovered my true passion is relationship and community building, specifically for Black and underrepresented women.
Dr. Wendy Bohon was working as a professional actress, until an earthquake altered the course of her life. Wendy earned a bachelor’s degree in theater and was living in Los Angeles after college. In 1999, she felt the famous Hector Mine earthquake, which occurred in the California desert but was widely felt across Southern California.
Kitana Sanchez left home to pursue higher education. Along the way, she also discovered her true identity and life's calling.
